After regular opening hours, the restaurant is available for your private or professional events. From intimate cocktail parties to official receptions and multi-course dinners: we create tailor-made events, allowing you and your guests to experience unforgettable moments of joy, delight and exchange. Leave the hosting to us: working with heart and soul, our team members will put all their experience, care and attentiveness at your service.

Our premises provide an intimate and serene setting for your event. The fireplace lounge (Kaminzimmer) is ideal for events on a smaller scale, with a round table seating 12 to 20 people. The main dining room is suited for groups of 18 to 52 people. The terrace, looking out onto sculptures by Calder, Kelly and Fischli / Weiss, is also at your disposal.

Premises

Since its reopening in November 2019, the rooms of the "Beyeler Restaurant im Park" have been in stylish dialogue with the history of the villa, the surrounding park and the museum building of the Fondation Beyeler by Renzo Piano thanks to the concept of the Spanish design studio Casa Muñoz. The fireside lounge and dining room are restrained and elegantly furnished, the atmosphere homely and inviting. The beautiful restaurant terrace invites you to linger, especially in the summer months.

Terrace and park

The Berower Park is one of the most beautiful parks around Basel. Attentively looked after by our experienced service team, you will not only enjoy good food or fine drinks, but also the view of the sculptures by Calder, Kelly and Fischli / Weiss.

The dining room

The jute-covered walls, a tribute to the original use of the villa as a summer house, are painted in the dining room with lime white paint and in the fireplace room in light lime green, which ensures a homely atmosphere and good acoustics.

The fireplace room

In addition to the design, the design concept also focused on the usage possibilities. In the fireplace room, through which guests will enter the restaurant in the future, a flexibly positioned bar designed by Casa Muñoz, acts as a central visual element. It is clad in copper pipes and covered with a black and white grained marble. In summer, the garden continues to provide an inviting atmosphere for eating and lingering.

Wall of books and editions

The central element is a variable wall of books and editions, which serves as a showcase for Fondation Beyeler’s exhibition catalogues, literature and artist editions, accompanying the museum's exhibition programme.
